At My Father’s House, our desire is to know God and to make Him known. We believe that within every person is a sense that there is more to this life than just living and dying. There is a desire within each of us to know our true purpose and to know the God that made us. The Bible explains that God created us for His glory and that He intends to have a personal relationship with all who will accept His invitation. As the Pastors of MFH, we have heard God’s call and accepted His invitation. We’ve given our hearts and our lives to Jesus and have made it our life’s mission to share this glorious experience with as many people as possible. We invite you to join us as we discover our destiny.

If there is one word to describe our church, it is the word “unique”. As you enter My Father’s House, there are several unique things you’ll notice. The first thing is that not many people are dressed up. That’s because we are truly a “come as you are” church. There’s no suit and tie requirement here. No sir. Just wear whatever you’re comfortable in and let’s get together and get to know God. If you like to dress up, that’s great. If you are more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, that is fine too. God is not looking for a fashion show, He’s looking for people who are hungry for His love. The next thing you’ll probably notice is that there are lots of children. That’s because God has blessed us with so many young adults who are raising precious little men and women of God. We believe that God has called us to do more than just baby-sit. We’re committed to teaching kids the Word of God at a young age. Children are important to Jesus – so they are important to us! In fact, a church with no children is a church with no vision for the future. We have lots of kids at MFH and we’re proud of it. Next, you’ll probably notice our music. We have a full band (guitars, drums, keyboards and vocalists) and we play a very modern/contemporary style of music during our worship service. Our style of music is intentional. If you are going to reach today’s generation then you must use music that is relevant to them. The music of MFH is both anointed and unique. It won’t be long before you find yourself wanting to join in as we sing joyfully to God. What else could be so different about our church? Well, the preaching and teaching is not only understandable and down to earth- but it is also interesting and exciting. No sleepy sermons around here. Don’t believe me? Just come and see. You’ll also be surprised to see that there are several different awesome men and women who preach and teach on a regular basis. Lastly, you’ll find that My Father’s House is not just a church, we’re a family. We love each other, pray for each other, spend time with each other and take care of one another.

To really understand why we are so unique, it is important to understand the vision of My Father’s House. Our vision is to reach all of middle Georgia with the good news that Jesus loves them and wants to save them. Our vision is to be a church where people can be “real” and be honest with God and those around them, without fear of being judged or condemned. Our vision is to be a multi-cultural group of believers. We are determined to break down racial barriers and denominational walls. Heaven isn’t segregated so why should the church be? Our vision is to have a church family made up of new believers, maturing believers and emerging leaders. Our vision is to develop children, men and women into world changers by the teaching and training of God’s word. Our vision is to see people healed and delivered from physical and emotional illness. We also desire to help people experience the awesome presence of God through dynamic praise and worship. We want to reach the world with the truth via CD’s, tapes, books and the internet. This our vision- and we will not fail- because our vision is from God himself. You are invited to be a part of this wonderful church family- will you join us in the adventure?
